And hear Major General Paul Vallely on defeating ISIS and thereby, drying up support from among its followers. Should Congress provide for a declaration of war?
While FBI Director, James Comey, has made clear that there have been open investigations in all 50 states concerning Islamic terror threats, the Bureau remains overwhelmed by the number of Muslim Sunni supporters of ISIS and Al Qaeda. On this topic, hear how the Major General reacts to House Speaker Paul Ryan’s criticism of Donald Trump’s comments on placing a moratorium, i.e., a temporary hold on Muslim immigration into the United States.
Is it racist to be opposed to individuals entering the United States who embrace an ideology that calls for Islamic supremacism? Should a temporary halt to Muslim refugees and/or immigrants be initiated, except under special circumstances, until the United States is better able to properly vet and deal with the influx of radicals entering the U.S. while posing as refugees from Syria and Iraq or stealing in illegally across the border or even legally under a specific visa program?
Would a moratorium be beneficial to America’s national security in light of the fact that there are those already in the U.S. who have embraced one terrorist group or another and are interested in supporting and/or or carrying out a terrorist attack inside America’s borders?
Consider the historical record: Did Jimmy Carter order 50,000 Iranian students in the United States to report to immigration offices with a view to deporting them during the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the taking of 66 American hostages by invoking the Nationality Act of 1952?
Did Franklin Delano Roosevelt halt German and Japanese naturalization after Pearl Harbor? Did he relocate Germans, Japanese and Italians who were not citizens, but dubbed “enemy aliens” away from the West Coast during World War II due to fears of an invasion?
