I want to thank all of you who contacted your House member and supported the Royce Iran Sanctions Bill, introduced by the House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA). It passed!
In November, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a 10 year extension of Iranian sanctions to the end of 2026. This includes sanctions currently being waived by the Obama administration. With Hillary Clinton out of the picture, this will facilitate President-elect Donald Trump’s efforts to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal by putting an end to waiving existing penalties and thus ending sanctions relief.
Passing such a bill will help to curb the Islamic regime’s dangerous activities, such as funding terrorism, an illegal arms trade and its illicit ballistic missile program aimed at American cities and those of America’s allies.
Urge the Senate to pass a companion bill. Contact your Senators today by phoning the Capital Switchboard at 202-224-3121. Ask for their support in passing an Iran sanctions bill.
Tell your Senator: Sanctions must remain in place until the regime stops exporting terror and threatening the U.S. and Israel with destruction.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Al Khamenei and the regime’s elite Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, (IRGC), have been effectively orchestrating potential terrorist attacks against the United States. Indeed, the Islamic regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is threatening to send elite fighters from the IRGC into the United States and Europe to commit acts of terror.
Meanwhile, the Obama administration has already handed the Islamic regime over $1.7 billion, equipping the Iranians with the ability to export terrorism. This has empowered Iran to work towards furthering an Islamic agenda that promotes Islamic supremacy – ideologically, politically, and militarily.
Again, contact your Senators at 202-224-3121 and urge their vote of support for an Iran sanctions bill.
Also, remember to contact your House and Senate members on a bill Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is backing to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
Unlike the Obama – Clinton team, President Trump will sign a bill designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist entity.
This bill, now in the Senate, not only points to the Brotherhood, but their subsidiaries such as CAIR, the Council of American Islamic Relations, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). These groups advocate, celebrate and finance terrorism here in the United States and in countries around the world.
