During this holiday season, learn of this week’s latest threat “To the Nation of [the] Cross” put out by the Islamic State’s (IS/ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) media outlet – Fursan. [For more related information see: firstname.lastname@example.org ]
And hear more on President Trump’s “principled realism” in his administration’s newly published National Security Strategy, NSS report. The four vital national interests include: Protect the American homeland; Promote American prosperity; Preserve peace through strength; and, Advance American influence. Also, find out what you may not have known concerning U.S. intelligence warnings that prevented the deaths of hundreds at a St. Petersburg’s Cathedral in Russia.
Hear more on the need for intelligence sharing between nations and consider: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have refused to take some intelligence warnings seriously. For example, in 2011 the Russian security service warned the U.S. about the Tsarnaev brothers. The counterterrorism task force in Boston was also warned. No action was taken. More information came to light in 2012. In the end, several Americans were killed and many more were maimed during the Boston Marathon bombing in April of 2013. This holiday season, situational awareness is important. If you see anything unusual contact local law enforcement or the FBI.
Furthermore, hear this week’s special guest, Director of the Zionist Organization of America in Israel’s Jerusalem office, Jeff Daube. He responds to questions on President Trump’s declaration that the United States will now officially recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the Western Wall of the Temple Mount compound will remain a part of Israel.
We begin this discussion by recalling July of 2017 when tens of thousands of Muslim Arabs (Palestinians) responded to their leaders’ calls for more “Days of Rage” as violent protests broke out over security measures taken by Israel to protect worshipers on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem after two young Israeli officers were murdered by Palestinians. Muslims had been smuggling weapons into their mosque(s) on the holy site using their religious facilities as a weapons storage facility – and may still be doing so.
Observing these kinds of incessant terrorist attacks, President Trump decided to break with decades of failed policy on Jerusalem in which the United States along with every other nation refused to recognize the ancient city as Israel’s capital, President Trump stated: “It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result.” Recognizing Jerusalem, he added, was “a long overdue step to advance the peace process.” [See: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/statement-president-trump-jerusalem/ ]
America’s newspaper of record, The New York Times, responded to the President’s change in policy by putting out a report suggesting that President Trump was not driven by “diplomatic calculations but by a campaign promise.” Hear the inside information by Director Daube who provides all of us with a better understanding of the President’s foreign policy directive.
On a related issue: When will the U.S. State Department allow the passports of Americans who give birth to their children in Jerusalem hospitals to record Jerusalem, Israel as their place of birth? Learn more about Director Daube’s vital work on this issue.
And listen-in to Director Daube’s response to the United Nations Security Council meetings to discuss the United States official recognition of Jerusalem after a request by eight countries of that 15-member body, including the UK, Italy and France.
The UN Security Council had been considering a draft resolution that would nullify – make null and void U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Is an United Nations group able to nullify US foreign policy decisions? Director Daube and I answer that question.
Former Prime Minister Ben Gurion also once stated “. . . we cannot conceive that the United Nations will try to tear Jerusalem from Israel or to impair the sovereignty of Israel in its Eternal Capital.” [See: http://www.jcpa.org/art/knesset4.htm ]
And yet the United Nations in the 21st century is working to prevent the U.S. and other countries from relocating their diplomatic missions to Jerusalem.
On Palestinian reactions: Mahmoud Abbas Palestinian “President” and terrorist continues to praise and remunerate terrorists as he states that he will take legal, political and diplomatic action against Trump’s announcement on Jerusalem according to statements Abbas made on Monday, according to Wafa. How is Israel reacting to statements in the Muslim Arab media that President Trump’s declaration deprives the US of any ability to play a role in the peace process? Hear and learn more on this subject as you listen in.
And interestingly enough, Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion said in 1949 following Israel’s rebirth on 14 May 1948 that “the State of Israel will guarantee freedom of religion, conscience, language, education and culture, will protect the Holy Places of all religions, and will be faithful to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.” [See: http://www.jcpa.org/art/knesset4.htm ]
Indeed, Israel continues to respect all existing rights regarding the Holy Places for any and all who visit the Jewish state.
Contact the President at 202.456.1111. Again, thank him for having the courage to end decades of injustice in which the United States refused to recognize the declared capital of a sovereign state, friend, and ally.
The Good Book states in Joel 3:2 that God will enter into judgment “on behalf of My people, My inheritance Israel” with those who have “divided up My land.”
Has President Trump put the United States on the right side of history?
Call for briefings to open up peace talks that are distinctly separate from giving Muslims another Arab state in the region.
In closing, on the subject of Jerusalem’s status, Prime Minister Ben Gurion made clear the following:
“Twice in our history we have been exiled from Jerusalem – but only after we were defeated in cruel wars by armies more numerous and stronger than ours, the armies of Babylon and Rome. Our ties today with Jerusalem are no less deep than those which existed in the days of Nebuchadnezzar and Titus Flavius; and when Jerusalem was attacked after 14 May 1948, our fighting youth knew how to sacrifice itself for our holy capital no less than did our forefathers in the days of the First and Second Temples….A nation which, for two thousand and five hundred years, has faithfully adhered to the vow made by the first exiles by the waters of Babylon not to forget Jerusalem, will never agree to be separated from Jerusalem. Jewish Jerusalem will never accept alien rule after thousands of its youngsters liberated their historic homeland for the third time, redeeming Jerusalem from destruction and vandalism.” [For more see: http://www.jcpa.org/art/knesset4.htm ]
