Virtually unreported in the United States was Israel’s decision to send a message to neighboring Syria in September by sending over warplanes that fired several rockets targeting a military site in Hama, west-central Syria, known for chemical weapons production and the manufacture of precision guided missiles.
Israel hopes that this airstrike will, for now, contain the aggressive escalation of Syrian, Iranian, and Hizballah forces that continue to threaten the Jewish State with destruction. The targeted area was just 55 minutes from the Syrian airfield used to launch chemical weapons attacks by the Assad regime against its own civilian population – an area that was then fired upon by the United States military using 59 Tomahawk missiles earlier this year in April.
Hear more as Director Daube, from his ZOA Jerusalem offices in Israel, responds to Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff, Gadi Eisenkot’s statements on Iranian efforts to manufacture precise weaponry in Syria and Lebanon to facilitate Hizballah’s build-up of its military infrastructure.
Eisenkot’s statements also pointed to Iran’s influence in the Middle East which he described as every bit as challenging as “defeating the Islamic State.” Eisenkot noted that the “war between wars” continues and at any time may deteriorate on any front due to “tactical events” on the ground – a disturbing reality that Israel must daily contend. Also, get more insight from Director Daube on Iran’s decision to follow in North Korea’s footsteps in order to further grow its plan of regional supremacy and its status as a global nuclear power.
And hear Director Daube and your host concerning Jason Greenblatt, President Trump’s Special Middle East Envoy on moving forward a “peace process” between Muslim Palestinians determined to destroy the Jewish state and the Jews of Israel who fight to maintain their survival.
Mr. Greenblatt has stated: “Hamas has substantially harmed the people of Gaza” due to its commitment to terrorism. And indeed, he is correct. However, Mr. Greesblatt went further to suggest that the Palestinian Authority take control of the Gaza Strip. But is the Palestinian Authority, an organization that sponsors terrorists, glorifies and celebrates murder, an entity that should assume the role of governing the Gaza – a safe haven to a number of terrorist groups?
On another broadcast topic, hear how Democrats, including former presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton, continue to celebrate Al-Jazeera, a Qatar-based television network that was celebrating Osama Bin Laden months prior to his orchestrated Al Qaeda attack on the United States on September 11, 2001. Find out what no other American may know about a broadcast aired just two (2) months prior to 9/11.
Dedicating an entire program to Bin Laden, the program hosts had suggested that the “slender jihadist,” Osama Bin Laden, “has made the greatest power in history shudder at the sound of his name . . . feared by America – for whom [America] moves its fleets and puts its army and embassies on highest alert? ….” [See: https://www.memri.org/reports/terror-america-30-retrospective-bin-laden-special-al-jazeera-two-months-september-11]
