At a time when American women and children remain trapped and isolated inside Muslim Arab countries, America’s media devotes its vast resources to cover the burning of Korans which have now cost the lives of at least four Americans serving the United States in Afghanistan.
Compare the burning of four Korans to the plight of American women and children who are unable to leave, unable to make contact with the outside world, unable to come back home to the United States and see their families. A story about human suffering goes unreported as the Muslim world rages on about Korans defiled by their own.
Furthermore, State Department personnel working in America’s foreign embassies and consulates do nothing to help these Americans. So as the American people remain focused on Korans that call for the death of Jews and Christians, books that keep American women, indeed, women of every race, creed, and color subjugated, suffering the effects of Sharia law, including torture, genital mutilation, and honor killings by stoning, horrific human rights violations, go without mention in the print and electronic media.
Yes, four Islamic Holy books were said to be defiled in Afghanistan, but by whom?
It was America’s enemies, Muslim Prisoners of War, the Taliban, who passed messages to other POWs on “sacred text” for the purposes of sabotage on an American military base. If we had real leadership in the White House, the President might still take a moment to explain to the American people that Islamic terrorists, enemy combatants, detained at the Parwan facility in Afghanistan, used the Koran to write Jihadist messages. This in effect violated their own cultural practice by writing messages on “sacred text,” thereby defiling their own holy books. By desecrating the Quran, Muslims turned these books into contraband. It is customary in Islam to burn contraband and this practice was so honored by the U.S. Parwan detention facility.
Of course, never mind when women are burned to death in the public square and in the presence of other women and children for the slightest offenses, in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Gaza, etc., after all, Korans were burned.
Meanwhile, American women and children remain trapped in the Middle East as the President and the media ignore what should be a President’s top priority: The safety of the American people, both here at home and abroad.
Consider America’s historical record. An earlier President sought to free Americans held against their will by Muslim pirates who consistently attacked American merchant ships in the Mediterranean. Thomas Jefferson worked diligently to free American sailors who were used as slaves and held for ransom by the Barbary pirates off the coast of North Africa.
In the process, he wanted to understand why Muslims kidnapped and held Americans hostage. When Jefferson was the American ambassador to France in 1786, and John Adams was America’s ambassador to Britain, they met in London with the Tripolitan ambassador to Britain. Both Jefferson and Adams asked the Muslim ambassador why Muslims were so angry with the newly formed United States, a country that had no previous contact with the Muslim tribes in the region.
Jefferson later reported to John Jay on the conversation with the Tripolitan ambassador. Jefferson wrote that the Muslim ambassador stated: It was written in their Koran that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman (Muslim) who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to Paradise.
Unfortunately, we have a President today who refuses to acknowledge Islam’s ideology of Sharia law that enslaves women and promotes a militant jihad. This President’s policies have diminished the strength of the United States in the eyes of our enemies and weakened America’s power and influence in supporting those who want desperately to leave Muslim countries.
Should not the United States help its own citizens kidnapped and held against their will in Muslim controlled areas, instead of catering to Muslims over Korans that call for the death and destruction of non-Muslims? Safeguard the lives of American women trapped in Muslim countries – bring them home!
Call attention to the treatment of American women who are brutalized, deprived of their freedom, and unable to secure safe haven within the walls of United States’ embassies or consulates in Muslim Arab countries.
Contact the President and members of Congress on this issue! Demand that American embassies work to help those Americans who want to come home.
